NUDE PIX SCANDAL

Elizabeth Wong, Bukit Lanjan assemblyman lodged a police report at the Damansara police station here Sunday night over nude pictures and videos of her that have been circulating via MMS.

In a statement,Wong said that the distribution and publication of these photos/ video was a malicious attack.

Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said that the nude pictures scandal will not affect Elizabeth Wong’s ability to serve as assemblyman and executive council member.

He said he and the rest of the state executive council members would stand firmly behind Wong as she faced the crisis.

Khalid urged the public, especially those living in Wong’s Bukit Lanjan state constituency, to be patient and wait for the police investigations to be over.

Elizabeth Wong today offered to quit her state cabinet post and state assembly seat.

PKR will make a decision on her status after she returns from extended leave, said Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim today.

The writer sympathize with YB Wong's predicament. This incident was planned to smear her image and her credibility. Hope the intended result would not materialize and let it be a lesson to other YBs to take care of themselves and not to become victims of unscrupulous people.
