AN ENLIGHTENING POEM

I came across recently an enlightening poem which I thought, should be shared by you, our esteemed visitors. This beautiful poem entitles The Difference.

THE DIFFERENCE

I got up early one morning
and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I didn't have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,
and heavier came each task.
"Why didn't God help me?" I wondered.
He answered, "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and bounty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn't show me.
He said,"But you didn't seek."

I tried to come to God's presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided.
"My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning,
and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I had to take time to pray

In our endeavor to achieve success, we sometimes take things for granted until we encounter difficulties or tragedies.

The above poem reminds us the greatness of God (Allah for Muslim). Let us show our gratitude by worshiping Him. We ask for His guidance, we seek for His blessings and we knock for His love. May God grants His compassion and mercy to all of us, Amen.

AUSTRALIA'S NEWEST HERO

Jessica Watson coming through
Sydney Heads after crossing the finish line.

T
he Prime Minister of Australia, Mr Kevin Rudd had to wait for Jassica Watson for three hours before hailing her as "Australia's newest hero."

"You do our nation proud," Mr Rudd said. "You are a hero for young Australians ... and young Australian women."

However Jassica humbly said she had to disagree with Mr Rudd as "I don't consider myself a hero".

"I'm an ordinary girl who had a dream. You just have to have a dream and set your mind to it.’’

PERINGATAN KEPADA PELAJAR-PELAJAR SMK SEAFIELD

See you at the top!

Jawapannya terdapat dalam ungkapan Leo Tolstoy, ahli falsafah ternama, yang menyebut,” Everyone thinks of changing the world, but none thinks of changing himself.

Bukit sama didaki

Lurah sama dituruni

Laba sama dikutip

Rugi sama ditatang

Hati kuman sama dicecah

Hati gagah sama dilapah

Berat sama dipikul

Ringan sama dijinjing

Cicir sama rugi

Dapat sama laba

pangkal sama dipupuk

Pucuk sama digentas

Bunga sama dipetik

Henry Ford pernah berkata, “ Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.

Sekali lagi saya ingatkan wahai pelajar-pelajar sekelian,

A man is but the product of his thought

What he thinks he becomes

Thinking well is wise

Planning well is wiser

Doing well is the wisest and best of all

So congratulations to all of you for doing well.

‘Winners have simply formed

The habit of doing things

Losers don’t like to do.’

Selamat Maju Jaya.

Yang Ikhlas,

Dato’ Abd Rahman Hj Ali

HOW RUBEN BECAME A MUSLIM

Hi, glad to be able to communicate with you again after a long break. Just now,while going through my facebook, I came across the following video posted by Nor'ashikin Ali, a PhD student in New Zealand. It depicts how Ruben, an Australian became a Muslim. As I watched the video, I was overwhelmed by emotion and for a while, I couldn't stop tears from rolling down my cheek. So touched! Thanks Shikin for introducing the video.

I thought you, our esteemed guest might want to see this interesting video and share the experience I had. All the best!.
