Angah's birthday was celebrated in a simple manner. Though we had made a reservation for dinner at Pullman Hotel, Putrajaya, we had to cancel it due to the fact that Angah had to make an urgent tele-conference with her college in London.

After a candle blowing event, Angah was 'showered' with a lot of birthday presents.

GREEN TEA PROTECTS AGAINST LUNG CANCER

"The health effect of
green tea consumption
could modify the risk of lung cancer,
particularly among smokers,"
said study author I-Hsin Lin,
of Chung Shan Medical University in Taichung.

Drinking a cup of green tea a day might reduce your chances of developing lung cancer—even if you're a smoker, HealthDay reports.

The study suggests that smokers and nonsmokers who consume a minimum of one cup of green tea per day appear to have a nearly 13-fold and 5-fold lower risk, respectively, for developing lung cancer than smokers and nonsmokers who don't drink any green tea.

Meanwhile, Norman Edelman, chief medical officer of the American Lung Association, insisted that smokers should not use green tea—a strong antioxidant—as an excuse for continuing the habit.

BIG BUMS AND THIGHS CAN BE HEALTHY

Singer Jennifer Lopez has topped
attractiveness polls with her curves

"Fat around the
hips and thighs
is good
for you but
around the tummy is bad."
said Dr Konstantinos Manolopoulos
of Oxford University

E
xtra padding in the hips, buttocks and thighs is healthy and protects against heart and metabolic problems, according to British researchers.

A study published in this month's International Journal of Obesity says fat in the hips mops up harmful fatty acids and contains an anti-inflammatory agent that stops arteries from clogging, according to the report.

Lead researcher Dr Konstantinos Manolopoulos, of Oxford University, said: "It is shape that matters and where the fat gathers.", BBC reports.
