Members of the Perak state assembly’s Rights and Privileges Committee have given statements to the Malaysian Ant-Corruption Commission (MACC) but said they did so “under protest.”
Their statements were recorded in connection with the committee’s decision on Feb 18 to bar Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Zambry Abd Kadir and his six exco members from the assembly.
Four committee members -- DAP’s Ong Boon Piow (Tebing Tinggi), Loke Chee Yan (Kepayang) and Sum Cheok Leng (Bercham), and PKR’s Chan Ming Kai (Simpang Pulai) -- turned up at the Perak MACC.Continue reading Perak Update..
