"O you who believe!
Observing As-Sawm (the fasting)
is prescribed for you
as it was prescribed for those before you,
that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)” (Al-Baqarah 2:183)
I'm grateful to Allah S.W.T for giving us the opportunity to enjoy another blessed month of Ramadan.
This is the month that is the best of all months in the estimation of Allah. Its days are the best among the days, its nights are the best among the nights. Its hours are the best among the hours.
It is indeed, the month of ibadah, devine bounty and blessing in which the reward of good deeds are multiplied greatly.
Let us spend a few moments to take stock of ourselves and recognizing our shortcomings in fulfilling our duties as muslims and Khalifah in this world. Let us also make a resolution that we will make attempts to benefit fully from this Ramadan by:
- Increasing our Iman and Takwa.
- Beautify our character
- Multiply abundantly our acts of worship
- Increase our rightous actions and good deeds sincerely.
May Allah S.W.T:
of
our sins
and grant us
PARADISE,
Ameen
