Those were the kind words of our beloved Patron, Yang Berbahagia Datin Rosalind Lee Swee Ting who has graciously officiated the Hari Karnival Keluarga Bahagia this year.

Once again HKKB has received a tremendous support from all sectors. More than 10,000 visitors have participated in more than 120 activities organized by students, parents, PIBG and other organizations. We are grateful to all of you who have generously donated, spent your money on our activities. A a result, HKKB has generated a net income of more than its target ie RM120,000.

We are pleased to inform that Pibg is forming a technical commitee to plan , organize and supervise the proposed building of a block of lavatory in the school. Parents who are able to assist in the project are most welcome.

On behalf of PIBG, Ionce again would like to thanks all parents, teachers, students and all parties who have made HKKB once again a success. Your cooperation is indeed very much appreciated.

KARNIVAL KELUARGA BAHAGIA 2010

Pleased to inform you, our esteemed guest that PIBG SMK Seafield, Subang Jaya once again will be organizing hari KARNIVAL KELUARGA BAHAGIA on Saturday, 10th July 2010. The main objective of this event is to collect fund for building additional toilet facilities for the school.

The response for the karnival so far has been overwhelming especially from the students. They took the initiative to conduct sale prior to actual karnival day. PIBG also did its share of presale by selling nasi lemak, sandwiches,kueh, noodles,cookies, drinks and others during 7:30am to 10:30am of Open Day today.

GRAEME MCDOWELL WON U.S. OPEN

McDowell, the Champion of U.S.Open 2010

"I just can't believe

how difficult this golf course was,"
McDowell said. "I had a little peek at
the leader board to see what was going on,
and no one was going crazy. I couldn't believe that."

Graeme McDowell, a 30-year-old from North Ireland, became the first European to win the US Open Championship since 1970.

McDowell posted a even-par 280 for the 72 holes at the very difficult conditions of Pebble Beach Golf Links. Though this score may not fit the typical Sunday finish for a US Open winner, McDowell made the fewest mistakes to earn the prestigious trophy.

Dustin Johson, a two-time Pro-Am winner at Pebble Beach did very well in the first three days and started Sunday with a three-short lead. However his 11-over-par, 82 round didn't help his cause.

Similarly, Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and other elite golfers failed to conquer the treacherous Pebble Beach and to win the illustrious trophy. Please click here to see the leader board.

AN ENLIGHTENING POEM

I came across recently an enlightening poem which I thought, should be shared by you, our esteemed visitors. This beautiful poem entitles The Difference.

THE DIFFERENCE

I got up early one morning
and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I didn't have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,
and heavier came each task.
"Why didn't God help me?" I wondered.
He answered, "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and bounty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn't show me.
He said,"But you didn't seek."

I tried to come to God's presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided.
"My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning,
and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I had to take time to pray

In our endeavor to achieve success, we sometimes take things for granted until we encounter difficulties or tragedies.

The above poem reminds us the greatness of God (Allah for Muslim). Let us show our gratitude by worshiping Him. We ask for His guidance, we seek for His blessings and we knock for His love. May God grants His compassion and mercy to all of us, Amen.
