HAPPY BIRTHDAY IDLAN

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
!!!

Today

is Muhammad Idlan Haziq (Adik) 15th birthday.

Lets join us in wishing him happy birthday by clicking play on the ecard below:

We celebrated his birthday in Croydon in a modest way this year. A simple cake cutting and present giving ceremony during breakfast. We decided to present him with few hundred pounds and with that money he could purchase whatever gadgets he wished to possess.

After breakfast we went to computer shop to look for his 'gadget'. Then to Subway for a light lunch and Tenpins to have a few games.

Together in Tenpins Bowling

We continued our search at Centrale and its surrounding area. Finally, Idlan got his gadget!
He looked so happy and accomplished.

His new found gadget-iPod Touch

Lets us doa for his health, long life, and success in the future:

May Allah SWT Bless him with Rahmat

And

All the good things in life,

Amin

THE MAGNIFICENT HAMPTON COURT PALACE

The layout plan of HCP

W
e had the opportunity to visit the magnificent Hampton Court Palace on 1st Jun 2009.It is located on the banks of the River Thames to the south west of London.

Here we are at the magnificent Palace

The Hampton Court Palace has risen from a humble barn on the manor of Hampton to a magnificent Palace which is said to be 'one of the most modern, sophisticated and magnificent in England'.

Floating in front of the Palace

In 1540 King Henry VIII had completed a splendid work on the palace. By then ' there were tennis courts, bowling alleys and pleasure gardens for recreation, a hunting park of more than 1,100 acres, kitchens covering 36,000 square feet, a fine chapel, a vast communal dining room (the Great Hall) and a multiple garderobe (or lavatory) - known as the Great House of Easement - which could sit 28 people at a time. Water flowed to the palace from Coombe Hill in Kingston, three miles away, through lead pipes'.

Posing with King Henry VIII

Renowned with its significant history associated with 12 monarchs and its various phases of transformations and restorations, it remains among the most impressive Palace in Europe.

At the kitchen which catered 600 households twice a day

The Hampton Court Palace is worth visiting. If you plan to visit , you should consider these Top Ten to see and do.

A large and splendid rose garden

It has a large and very beautiful garden of various varieties of plants. Its roses are really splendid and some of them I haven't seen before. Its really marvelous.

At the center of the famous maze

It also has the world famous maze. The average period to reach its center is 20 minutes. But we were fortunate to reach it in 10 minutes. Bravo!!

If you have the resources and time, I would suggest you to visit this magnificent Hampton Court Palace.

GREETINGS FROM LONDON

The route from Kuala Lumpur to London

Hi, cheers from London. My family except Iza is now in London since 30th May. Visiting Along, Abang Long and our lovely grand daughter Qistyna. At the same, with God willing, we'll be attending Izad's graduating ceremony in Ireland and also visiting Athens, Greece and Monte Carlo, Monaco. Izad has successfully completed his 5 year medical study and now a doctor.

Snow on top of mountain in Afghanistan

The travel from Kuala Lmpur to London took about 13 hours. We flew over Andaman Sea, India, Afghanistan, Eastern Europe, Amsterdam then to Heathrow. It was a tiring but exciting journey.

The road from M23 leading to Croydon

On arrival, we were received by a cool and refreshing weather, around 20 degrees centigrade and met our beloved family members and our Bibik who has been with us for almost 9 years. Oh ,what a joyful reunion!!!. The only regret is that Iza is not around. She is unable to take leave from her lecturing duties.

The Tesco Hypermarket in Croydon

Today, after having a delicious nasik lemak breakfast prepared by Along And Bibik, we window shopped at Central Shopping Mall and its surrounding area. There were Italian food and jewelery stalls along the walkway. The cookies looked appetizing, so we bought some. Wow! they were really sweet and wonderful.

Abang Long, Izad and Adik BBQing

In the evening Abang Long, Along, Izad and Adik prepared a BBQ. I was really excited since I have not tasted BBQed stuffs for quite sometime. The chickens, beefs, meshmellows etc were very good. One of the best BBQs I ever had. Thanks guys!

Playing Musical Chair

Included in these happy hours was a musical chair game. All of us participated in it and Qistyna was enjoying the most.

Qistyna enjoying

I retired a bit exhausted but felt accomplished and grateful to God for enabling us to have a reunion and enjoyed every moment together.

The Court of Appeal has unanimously ruled that Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir is the valid mentri besar of Perak.

The three-man bench, in setting aside the High Court’s decision earlier which ruled that Datuk Seri Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin was the rightful mentri besar “at all material times,” held that Nizar had ceased to command the confidence of the majority of the Perak State Legislative Assembly.
