SCORES KILLED IN INDONESIAN MILITARY PLANE CRASH

An Indonesian military transport plane carrying more than 100 people on board crashed and burst into flames in East Java on Wednesday, killing at least 97 people, a disaster official said.

The C-130 Hercules aircraft plowed into several houses on the ground, scattering debris and sending flames and billowing smoke into the air, TV footage showed.

Rustam Pakaya, the head of the health ministry's crisis center, told Reuters by telephone 97 people had been killed and 15 injured, including some on the ground.-Reuters

These results demonstrate that women have a more powerful inflammatory response than men

Men really do have an excuse for supposedly being wimpy about coughs and colds - their immune systems are not as strong as women's, research suggests.

A Canadian study indicates that the female sex hormone oestrogen gives women's immune systems added bite at fighting off infection.

Oestrogen seems to counter an enzyme which blocks the inflammatory process.

Ini diputuskan oleh Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi Datuk Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahim setelah mendapati jawatan Menteri Besar tidak boleh dianggap kosong dan undi tak percaya hanya boleh dibuat di Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN).

Mahkamah juga memerintahkan supaya Pejabat Menteri Besar Perak dan semua Exco dikosongkan dalam masa terdekat.

OBAMA TO ADDRESS MUSLIMS

US President Barack Obama will give a long-awaited speech on US relations with the Muslim world on a visit to Egypt, the White House has announced.

He will travel to Egypt on 4 June and a day later arrive in Germany for a visit to Dresden and the site of the Nazi concentration camp at Buchenwald.

During his election campaign, Mr Obama promised to make a major speech on ties with Muslims early in his presidency.
